STAY SAFE. BE KIND.

COVID-19 UPDATE

HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY

We are all going through extraordinary times, but we want to reassure you that Heaven’s Rest B&B is committed to the health & safety of all our guests and employees. As we are a small scale accommodation provider with only 4 different units, you can be confident that you encounter overcrowded spaces like in busy hotels or motels. We are constantly monitoring the latest updates from the Ministry of Health and continue following guidelines of local health authorities. You can find all information and updates about Covid-19 on the offical Government’s Covid-19 Website.

COVID-19 Protection Framework (traffic lights)

On 2 December at 11.59pm New Zealand will move to the new COVID-19 Protection Framework. Auckland will move to Red while the settings for the rest of New Zealand are yet to be decided on. We are looking forward to welcoming all of you back from this date onwards.

Do I need My Vaccine pass to stay at Heaven's Rest B&B?

MY VACCINE PASS IS REQUIRED WHEN:

  • Bookings for our Kakapo Wing
  • Bookings for our Tui Wing

MY VACCINE PASS IS NOT REQUIRED WHEN:

  • Bookings for our Kea Cabin
  • Bookings for our Kiwi Cabin
  • Booking both our Kakapo Wing and Tui Wing as one group

For your peace of mind and for the health and safety of our guests and employees, Heaven’s Rest B&B has decided to make the My Vaccine Pass mandatory for all guests over the age of 12 wanting to stay in our Kakapo Wing or Tui Wing only. As our Kakapo Wing and Tui Wing both share our spacious lounge and kitchen in our farmhouse, we want our guests to feel comfortable, safe and confident.

Guests staying in our self contained Kiwi Cabin or Kea Cabin don’t require the My Vaccine Pass. Heaven’s Rest B&B won’t ask for vaccine passes of guests staying in our self contained cabins.

We will use the offical NZ Pass Verifier app to verify each vaccine pass.

These changes will come into effect with Auckland’s move to the traffic light system on 3 December 2021 and will be in place in Red and Orange.

Where can I get My Vaccine Pass?

You can visit the Ministry of Health website for all information on how to get My Vaccine Pass.

Is the B&B Staff vaccinated?

All your hosts and Heaven’s Rest B&B’s employees are fully vaccinated.
